Open Public Records Act
(OPRA)

The Open Public Records Act (OPRA) enables citizens to access government records, promoting transparency and accountability. Individuals can submit OPRA requests to obtain specific information held by public entities, such as Jersey Shore Regional Health Commission. This can facilitate access to documents, records, and data. The process empowers residents, journalists, and researchers by ensuring open government and fostering civic engagement. OPRA strengthens public oversight of governmental activities in the state.

In accordance with the Open Public Records Act, the Jersey Shore Regional Health Commission (JSRHC) makes available its public records through formal requests. Requests may be submitted in writing by submitting a paper “Records Request Form” or by completing the online form below.

To note JSRHC currently provides services to the following Municipalities:  Allenhurst, Brielle, Deal, Fair Haven, Interlaken, Loch Arbour, Monmouth Beach, Rumson, Sea Bright, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, and Spring Lake Heights. If your request does not directly involve JSRHC, or the municipalities indicated above, JSRHC will be unable to provide any information. In such event it is recommended for you to reach out directly to the given municipality and their Health department to obtain any desired information by way of an OPRA request.
